About the Event
The cost is £8 per HPS member (£12 non-member). Including an introductory talk, tea/coffee + purchased flapjack, brownies etc.
Note: Booking and payment for this visit must be made before the 5th May 2025. Unfortunately, refunds cannot be made after the closing date as the club will have already paid for the venue.
Description
Six acres surrounding an Elizabethan house (not open). Large walled garden with herbaceous borders, vegetables and fruit, overlooked by Millennium folly. Lawns and mature and recently planted trees and shrubs, with many unusual varieties. Orchard, ornamental ponds and lake. Four generations in the family, but still evolving year on year.
Directions:
1m east of Ross-on-Wye. On the A40 towards Gloucester. Coming from Ross the entrance is on the left after the speed limit reduces to 40mph. Parking is very limited so please car share if possible.
