About the Event

Richard and Jill Rallings own Mynd Hardy Plants, a plant nursery within the Victorian Walled Garden of Delbury Hall in Diddlebury, Shropshire. They offer an extensive and increasing range of hardy perennials for sale including collections of asters, hardy geraniums, hemerocallis, penstemon and alpines. The nursery featured on BBC Gardeners World in 2015.  The lavishly planted herbaceous beds within the walled garden reflect the range of plants they sell, which are propagated by themselves or sourced locally.

Names such as Gertrude Jekyll and Vita Sackville-West are familiar to most gardeners but there are so many more. This engaging and increasingly popular talk celebrates the extensive achievements women have made to the gardens and gardening styles we enjoy today.
