About the Event

Mark has been involved in horticulture all his life and has been Head Gardener of a number of historically and botanically important gardens and arboreta in Hampshire, Cornwall and Powys. With his partner, Sue, he runs Paviour and Davies Plants, a small nursery in North Herefordshire where they are developing a diverse and eclectic selection of plants. Mark follows the exploits and legacy of the French Lazarist missionary and naturalist extraordinaire who left his own indelible mark as well as helping to pave the way for subsequent plant collectors in China.
